Diane's School of Dance was established in 1983 to provide West Michigan with quality instruction in dance
 About Us

Our Teachers and Assistants
The teaching staff
at Diane 's School of Dance has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has been trained in all performing art forms. Our education and teaching material is continually improved and updated by attending major dance conventions throughout the year in various major cities all over the U.S. We have won numerous choreography awards in competition. All demonstrators and assistants are individually selected and trained until they are fully qualified to teach.

Our Facilities
Diane's School of Dance
has a brand new state of the art studio located in Fruitport. The facility is equipped to provide an exceptional learning environment for all students. Spacious, clean, well lit, mirrored studios with barres, provide students with ample room for movement. Resilient wood dance floors are designed to minimize leg and back stress. Each studio also includes a one-way mirriored window from the reception room into the studio for parents to view their dancer hard at work. Our new facility also houses our dance wear shop "Pro Dance Supplies" for all your dancing needs.

Our Policies
Students and parents can help us maintain our high standards by observing these policies:

• Be prompt. The early warm-up is vital for the safety of the dancer and the progression of the class as a whole.
• Attend regularly. The student's progress and understanding of the material is hindered by absenteeism.awards
• No street shoes on the dance floor. Likewise, dance shoes are not to be worn outside. The dance floor is *' specially   built with special maintenance requirements.
• Secure hair away from face. We need to see eyes and happy faces. Chewing gum is not allowed in class.
• Remind young children to use the restroom before class begins. Every minute spent in class is valuable.
• No baggy clothing. Teachers need to see body alignment. A leotard, tights and necessary dance shoes are a must for   all classes.
• Each student's undivided attention is needed at all times. Please remember, class is not a lime to socialize — but to learn.

Tuition
Tuition is based on an average of four classes per month. It is not altered for months with holidays. Students are enrolled at Diane 's School of Dance on the assumption they will remain for the entire 9-month (36 lesson) syllabus. Because we do not carry a contract with each dancer, billing of lessons continues until we are notified that a student's lessons will be terminated.

Please note: Tuition is due on the first day of each month. We accept Visa, Master Card, Cash, and Checks.Make checks payable to Dianes School of Dance. Checks returned by the bank for any reason incur a $20 service charge. If payment is not in our hands by the 10th of each month a $10 late fee is automatically charged.
An emergency or weather conditions sometimes necessitate cancellation of classes. Make-up classes will be arranged or prorated and refunded if we do not meet our 36-week syllabus. Tuition is prorated only in the event of extended illness.
